Objectives
- To make loans available to the poor and underprivileged for investment in self chosen income generating activities
- To develop and implement strategies to alleviate poverty and unemployment among the bottom fifty percent of those living below the poverty line
- To provide life skills and business development services to the underprivileged
- To increase the human production capacity by creating opportunities for efficient human resource development and management
- To provide information on basic health including HIV/AIDS
- To provide information on gender mainstreaming
- To improve the quality of life of the poor
- To improve on the Empowerment Credit (EC) concept by sharing ideas and experiences with other organizations carrying out related activities through networking and technical exchange
- To reach out to many poor people all over the world through the provision of internship and training of would-be GHAPE replicators.
